Inspired by the decadence of airline travel during the swinging 60s, Globe-Trotter’s introduction of the Caviar collection to its Deluxe range, harks back to one of the most gourmet dishes served on board these flights.
In the early days of flying there was no division of first, business and economy and everyone on board got served a delicious array of delicacies. Caviar, as one of the most luxurious offerings which got introduced and sampled on board these flights was something that many gourmet high fliers were accustomed to.
The pearly glossy sheen of caviar is replicated through Globe-Trotter’s own model – a metallic grey vulcanised fibreboard is coated with a high-gloss finish, while the interior of the case is lined with a suede-like interior lining. The rich tones of the gunmetal grey of the body of the case is complimented with a sumptuous leather trim in a deep shade of chocolate bull leather, seen on the handles and the corners.
