One of the greatest things about shell cordovan is its super-tight pore structure, which makes it incredibly strong and great in all kinds of weather — this polish is specially formulated for shell cordovan, using neatsfoot oil instead of turpentine, so that it sinks into the leather without stretching out the pores. It’s also amazing for restoring pigment, especially in shoe creases.

Saphir Médaille d’Or Cordovan Cream Shoe Polish is formulated with beeswax, solvents, a high concentration of pigments and neatsfoot oil to penetrate deeper into leather to maintain suppleness and sheen. It was specifically developed to nourish and protect Cordovan leather.
